I began racing street stocks in 1992 primarily at Thunderbird Speedway in Crandall, Tx and North Texas Motor Speedway in Royce City, TX. I continued in the street stock division through the 1995 season. In 1994 I won the championship at Thunderbird Speedway and I n 1995 I won the street stock championship as well as the overall Championship at North Texas. In 1996 I moved to the Hot Stock class until 1998. I was able to win 5 Features during those very competitive years. In 2000, I moved into IMCA Modifieds at several tracks, including a couple of tracks in upstate New York. I hung up my gloves for a few years due to conflicts with my work schedule, but never lost the love of racing. In 2007 I returned to Devils Bowl Speedway in a Modified for a year and decided it was time to take a break. In 2014, my son Brett “BA” Jensen showed up at the shop with his own factory stock. The bug began to chew on me once again. After helping him get started, We decided we needed another car for back up, and a car for old dad to climb in on occasion. The bug bit hard, so In 2020 I went back to racing full time in a USRA Factory Stock and finished in the Top Ten at Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite. In 2021, I succeeded in winning the Devils Bowl Speedway Factory Stock Championship and finished third in points at RPM Speedway in Crandall, Tx. My wife says I need to stop while at the top, but I DON’T KNOW….
